I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to do these wine poster assignment..
As we know, a wine poster should be classy, isn't it?

The first I try to make this assignment,, my lecturer said that my poster was not classy.. :p

Tomcat Journey @103

Many people talk about this small insect these days. The Paederus insect has been a hot topic for 2 weeks. I've just heard yesterday from my uncle's wife that it has reached BSD. Wow, I have to be careful a lot of course, as I was totally don't care about it. I think the issue was annoying enough, especially in Blackberry Messenger Broadcast. 

And...

Tada!

2 Hours ago, I was in my bathroom (my room is room 103) to wash clothes. I saw something small on the detergent plastic jar. And it's ORANGE-BLACK color, just like what I saw in internet. OMG, I shocked for some seconds. 

Suddenly I took Baygon, spray it, and I felt safe when the tomcat died. I don't intend to kill any animal. But, the condition said that I had to. 

Now on, watch out guys, especially people in UMN Dormitory, we've been invaded.

"First" News that Change My Life

I chose Communication major BECAUSE I want to work as an editor, in whatever (but well) media. 

I was glad that I could read newspaper everyday at primary school. I think I started reading newspaper when I was in second grade of Primary School. My father was suscribed to WAWASAN a local evening newspaper based in Central Java. It made me love reading things so much. especially about the world. Every evening after I got the newspaper I read it beside the aquarium, on the floor.

I remember this story when I was in 3rd grade. In September 2001, many days after WTC Bombing in US, the cover headlines were always about that great disaster. Not only the newspaper, I watch the news bout it everyday from the TV. 

One day, when my father were reading the cover of wawasan, I asked him.

Lil Jessy : Daddy, it has been a long time. Why do the headlines of this newspaper are about WTC? America is far away. Why do we keep reading about that?

My Daddy : Of course. You know, many people were dead in this bombing. It's a big phenomenon!

Lil Jessy: Ow. (JUST THAT!)

Last Week of October 2009

I got a Journalism Training for three days in SMPK Kesuma. 

At the same week I was competing for a basketball competition. The second day of training, I even rided my motorcycle in a great speed (not to be done!) right after the training finished. I had a big game to do, with the rival of my school, Smanda at the semifinal.

Blessed, I was safe arriving at home. I Changed my clothes and wore the shoes such in a hurry. 

My Mom said that I had to go with my Daddy if I wanted to be safe. Well, OK, My Daddy is really greater than me in that capability.

We blasted to BM (Bhakti Mulia) Basketball Hall

It was the time schedule of the game!

I didn't know that I'd to be happy or not, I was 30 minutes too early. Well.

The game started and I played since the 1st quarter.

I was a lil bit shocked that I saw my Daddy was standing right at the door. 

I told him to go in, but he didn't want to. I keep continue the game.

When I was running back, he stood inside the hall already. Dunno how he did it, as he did'nt buy the ticket. lol

PERHAPS, it was the first and last time my Daddy watch me play in a game when I was in Junior and Senior High.

And after the game, we watched the game of the boys of my school.

The following day

The 3rd day of training. We had to make a news, and I had to search any interesting news at my school, SMAK Kesuma. But I didn't find any interesting topic of my school. For real.

AHA! I got the idea to interview our girls team captain, Putri.

Tawa dan Tangis SMAK Kesuma di SBL

           

            Dua tim SMAK Kesuma yang terdiri dari tim putra dan putri bertanding di semifinal kompetisi bola basket bertajuk Smansa Basketball League (SBL). Pertandingan tersebut berlangsung Kamis kemarin (29/10) di gedung bola basket Bhakti Mulia Cakranegara. Kedua tim SMAK Kesuma berambisi menggenggam tiket menuju parai final yang gagal mereka raih pada ajang yang sama tahun lalu.

            Tim SMAK Kesuma putri menghadapi lawan berat, yakni SMAN 2 Mataram. Sejak kuarter pertama kedua tim saling mengejar angka. Hingga kuarter kedua, SMAK Kesuma berhasil unggul 5 angka. Melalui permainan yang disiplin, SMAN 2 Mataram mampu menekan permainan SMAK Kesuma sehingga tim juara SBL tahun lalu tersebut mampu mengejar ketertinggalan angka. Namun hal itu tidak belangsung lama. Berkat dukungan yang diberikan penonton sepanjang pertandingan, SMAK Kesuma bangkit dan memperbesar selisih angka dengan SMAN 2 Mataram. Pada kuarter ketiga skor menjadi 40-28 . Di kuarter keempat, SMAK Kesuma tetap konsisten dengan permainannya. Skor akhir 47-35 untuk kemenangan SMAK Kesuma. Menurut Putri, kapten SMAK Kesuma, kemenangan ini sangat tidak diduga. “Smanda (SMAN 2 Mataram-red) memiliki banyak pemain berbahaya, saya kira peluang kami menang hanya 10% dan saya sangat senang dengan kemenangan kali ini,” imbuhnya.

            Setelah kontes three point, pertandingan SMAK Kesuma putra melawan SMAN 5 Mataram dimulai. SMAK Kesuma 'tancap gas' sejak menit-menit awal. Hasilnya, SMAK Kesuma unggul 18-15 di kuarter pertama. Mulai kuarter kedua pertandingan berlangsung sangat ketat. Kemampuan kedua tim sangat berimbang. Kedua tim bergantian mencetak angka. Suasana di Bhakti Mulia selalu gemuruh saat pemain mencetak poin bagi timnya. Saat kuarter kedua selesai, kedudukan imbang 33-33. Beberapa pemain andalan SMAK Kesuma mengalami kram karena kelelahan semenjak kuarter tiga bergulir. Meskipun persaingan angka tetap sengit, permainan SMAK Kesuma menurun. Di kuarter keempat, SMAK Kesuma 'kehabisan napas' setelah salah satu pemain intinya harus dikeluarkan dari pertandingan. Hal ini dimanfaatkan SMAN 5 Mataram yang mampu bermain konsisten hingga akhir. Meski pemain terus berjuang hingga akhir, kekalahan SMAK Kesuma putra tidak dapat dihindari. SMAN 5 Mataram memenangkan pertandingan dengan skor akhir 61-55. Tiket partai final kembali gagal diraih SMAK Kesuma putra. Kapten tim SMAK Kesuma tak kuasa menahan tangisnya. Suporter SMAK Kesuma pulang dengan perasaan kecewa. SMAK Kesuma pun harus mengubur asa mengawinkan gelar juara SBL tahun ini.

            Pertandingan perebutan juara 3 akan dilaksanakan hari ini. SMAK Kesuma putra akan menghadapi SMAN 4 Mataram pukul 16.00 WITA. Tim putri SMAK Kesuma sendiri akan melawan SMAN 1 Mataram pada Sabtu (31/10) pukul 15.00 WITA di partai puncak.

 I think I love writing news like this. This lead me to today.

I am back

It has been 3 months since I wrote my last post about Gili... Well, that was posted the year before... Isn't it too late to start posting for 2012 in March? Nope, better than nothing. 

What's in 2012? 

To be honest, psychologically I'm not in great condition. I am good, so don't think I got something error in my brain, okay? LOL. I mean that I have too much to think. A lot, though I don't mean to.

So hard to keep these all just in mind. But, I cannot share 'em all. It's not about secret or something that I can't reveal. These are things that people don't want to hear a lot exactly whereas I keep thinking em, that people don't. Am I too introvert? Yes I am, but not too much. I've ever shared to my friends yet no response, is it that mine r unimportant, right?

 Complicated. 

Whatever, I'm still me.. :)

Have lived in 3 different cities is great for me. Well I just wanna share my schools since Kindergarten level, but hard for me to find the photos. Seems I've to go to those schools myself. But since I'm not living in Pekalongan anymore, this need to be delayed first.

Bones~

Okay,, after not posting for a while because my holiday was over, I found interesting one to share.
Why?
Because I finally found that Indonesia became the topic of my favorite TV serial about criminal investigation in FOX Channel, Bones. Yay!!!

In last episode of Bones season 5, the main characters Dr. Brennan and Daisy Wick were going to Maluku, Indonesia for a year for a research acout human evolution mystery.
As an Indonesian, bad for me to know that Maluku is popular for that reason from US serial. However, I'm so proud with this fact. Maluku, you are cool. ^^

And finally Indonesia was included in an important topic,, not popular of terorist or bombing anymore.. ^^

A lil' bout : Fashion Week

A fashion week is a fashion industry event, lasting approximately one week, which allows fashion designers, brands or "houses" to display their latest collections in runway shows and buyers to take a look at the latest trends. Most importantly, it lets the industry know what's "in" and what's "out" for the season. The most prominent fashion weeks are held in the four fashion capitals of the world New York, London, Milan and Paris.

In the major fashion capitals, fashion weeks are semiannual events. January through April designers showcase their autumn and winter collections and September through November the spring/summer collections are shown. Fashion weeks must be held several months in advance of the season to allow the press and buyers a chance to preview fashion designs for the following season. This is also to allow time for retailers to arrange to purchase or incorporate the designers into their retail marketing.

New York, London, Milan and Paris each host a fashion week twice a year with New York kicking off each season and the other cities following in the aforementioned order.

There are two major seasons per year - Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer. For Womenswear, the Autumn/Winter shows always start in New York in February. Spring/Summer shows start in September in London.

Menswear Autumn/Winter shows start in January in Milan for typically less than a week followed by another short week in Paris. Menswear Spring/Summer shows are done in June.

Introducing our island "Lombok"

Well, I live in Lombok, a small island in Indonesia. Located in West Nusa Tenggara Province.
Perhaps people know about Bali, a beautiful island with a lot of well known tourism objects, Lombok is located right in the east of Bali.
Only with 15 minutes travel by plane or 3-4 hours by ferry from Bali, we can reach Lombok.
Do you know that Lombok has a number of tourism objects, too?
